Taken from the new show out this week we go back to the day New Years Eve 63 in New York the legendary Cousin Brucie given "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" and told "Play it" the rest is history but this was the day as Jay Jay French recalls that a music industry dead in the water suddenly had life breathed into it and pop/rock music was born. Jay Jay grew up in New York and still lives there and this was like so many others a first introduction to popular music that would become his life he would go on to form the iconic band Twisted Sister who enjoyed global success and are heading back out on tour this fall.
